Massachusetts High School Football - Milton Academy crushed by Governor's Academy
October 11, 2024: Byfield, MA 01922 Governor's Academy Governors (Byfield, MA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Milton Academy Mustangs (Milton, MA), 39-7 in a league battle.
With the win, Governor's Academy improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Governors travel to Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA) to play the Spartans in a Independent School ISL-7 battle on Friday, October 18. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Lawrence Academy lost 28-21 in their recent non-league battle against Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA)
The Mustangs now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Tabor Academy for a Independent School ISL-7 battle on Saturday, October 19. Milton Academy will play a Seawolves team coming off a 40-34 league win over St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA). The Seawolves record now stands at 4-0.
