Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS), 39-26 in a league battle.

With the win, Noxubee County advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Enterprise (Enterprise, MS) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 5 battle on Friday, October 18. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Enterprise won 48-0 in their recent league battle against McLaurin (Florence, MS)

The Wildcats now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Philadelphia for a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. Kemper County will encounter a Tornadoes team coming off a 68-45 league win over Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 2-5.
