October 11, 2024: Marion, WI 54950 The Marion/Tigerton Mustangs football squad scored 51 points and limited the visiting Wild Rose Wildcats to 6 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Almond-Bancroft for a Mideast (8 Man) test on Friday, October 18. Marion/Tigerton will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 66-28 non-league win over Wabeno/Laona (Wabeno, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Wild Rose drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Newman (Wausau, WI) to meet the Fighting Cardinals in a Mideast (8 Man) test on Friday, October 18. The Fighting Cardinals come into the test with a record of 7-1. Newman won 56-24 in their recent league test against Tri-County (Plainfield, WI)
