September 13, 2024: Marion, WI 54950 Marion/Tigerton Mustangs (Marion, WI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Menominee Indian Eagles (Keshena, WI), 43-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Marion/Tigerton advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Newman (Wausau, WI) to play the Fighting Cardinals in a Mideast (8 Man) battle on Saturday, September 21. The Fighting Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Newman won 30-12 in their recent non-league battle against Niagara (Niagara, WI)
The Eagles now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wild Rose for a Mideast (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 20. Menominee Indian will play a Wildcats team coming off a 50-6 league loss to Tri-County (Plainfield, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
