The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting St. John's Cadets to 13 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeMatha for a Washington Catholic - Capital test on Friday, October 18. Our Lady of Good Counsel will meet a Stags squad coming off a 28-14 league win over Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Stags record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, St. John's drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD) to meet the Mustangs in a Washington Catholic - Capital test on Saturday, October 19. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 4-1. Bishop McNamara won 20-10 in their recent non-league test against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX)
