St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), 28-0 in a league battle.

With the win, St. John's betters its record to 5-2 on the year. The Cadets host DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD) to confront the Stags in a Washington Catholic - Capital contest on Saturday, October 26. The Stags enter the contest with a record of 6-1. DeMatha won 35-7 in their recent league contest against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD)

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) in a Washington Catholic - Capital contest, on Saturday, October 26.
