The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Archmere Academy Auks (Claymont, DE) and the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE), witnessed Archmere Academy's football squad wallop Mount Pleasant by a tally of 48-6.

The Auks (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Laurel (Laurel, DE). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Laurel was trounced by Indian River (Dagsboro, DE), 42-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Green Knights play the Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE) in a 2A District 1 battle, on Saturday, October 18. Mount Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Quakers go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 28-6 league loss to Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE).
