In Saturday's non-league game, the Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) flag football team crushed the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), by a final score of 41-7.

With the win, Highland advances its record to 9-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to Hamilton (Chandler, AZ) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Hamilton won 48-0 in their recent non-league bout against Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
