The Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Mountain City Christian Academy Lions to 0 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 12-14 record. They play next when they travel to Chugiak for a 4A Cook Inlet outing on Tuesday, October 14. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-10.
