Louisiana High School Volleyball - Iota over Bourgeois
October 11, 2025: Iota, LA 70543 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Iota Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bourgeois Braves.
The Bulldogs (20-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Church Point (Church Point, LA). The Bears come into the Division III District 2 challenge with a 10-13 record. In their last challenge, Church Point achieved victory over Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thibodaux for a Division I District 7 test on Tuesday, October 14. Bourgeois will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-18.
