October 11, 2025: Iota, LA 70543 Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Franklin Hornets (Franklin, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Iota advances its record to 20-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Bourgeois (Gray, LA) to face the Braves in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Braves go into the test with a record of 5-14. Bourgeois lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA)
Next, the Hornets play the West St. Mary Wolfpack (Baldwin, LA) in a Division IV District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Delcambre (Delcambre, LA).
