October 11, 2025: Buckley, MI 49620 Buckley Bears (Buckley, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Buckley improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Grand Traverse Academy (Traverse City, MI) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Grand Traverse Academy lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Baldwin (Baldwin, MI)
In their next game, the Ironmen face the Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI) in a Ski-Valley test, on Tuesday, October 14. Mancelona will attempt to advance on its 8-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 11-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Onaway (Onaway, MI).
