In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Buena Park Coyotes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Santa Ana Saints.

The Coyotes (17-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Classical Academy (Escondido, CA). The Caimans come into the non-league challenge with a 19-7 record. In their last challenge, Classical Academy beat St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Saints face the Ocean View Seahawks (Huntington Beach, CA) in a Orange Coast test, on Tuesday, October 14. Santa Ana will attempt to advance on its 1-21 season record. The Seahawks go into the test with a 25-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Irvine (Irvine, CA).
