The Ironwood Eagles volleyball squad (Glendale, AZ), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ)

The Coyotes (19-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights enter the 5A - Northwest Valley contest with a 12-14 record. In their last contest, Lake Havasu was knocked off by Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) in a 5A - Northwest Valley battle, on Thursday, October 16. Ironwood will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Cougars go into the battle with a 7-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ).
