In Saturday's league match, the Central Christian Cougars (Hutchinson, KS) volleyball squad overcame the host Skyline Thunderbirds (Pratt, KS), by a count of 2-0.

Coming up next, the Cougars clash with the South Barber Chieftains (Kiowa, KS) in a Heart of the Plains bout, on Saturday, October 11. Central Christian will attempt to better on its 19-10 season record. The Chieftains come into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 2-1 league win over Skyline (Pratt, KS).
