In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Hanover-Horton Comets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hudson Tigers.

The Comets (26-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jonesville (Jonesville, MI). The Comets come into the Cascades challenge with a 14-15 record. In their last challenge, Jonesville was defeated by Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ida for a Lenawee County test on Tuesday, October 14. Hudson will face a Bluestreaks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MI). The Bluestreaks record now stands at 7-17.
