California High School Volleyball - St. Francis over Rio Americano

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Francis Troubadours volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Rio Americano Raiders.

With the win, St. Francis improves its record to 26-7 on the season. The Troubadours travel to Whitney (Rocklin, CA) to face the Wildcats in a Sierra Foothill League test on Monday, October 13. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 7-14. Whitney won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Oakdale (Oakdale, CA)

The Raiders now own a 24-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bella Vista for a Capital Valley Conference test on Monday, October 13. Rio Americano will face a Broncos squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-13.
