October 12, 2022: Gold Beach, OR 97444 Coquille/Myrtle Point Red Devils (Coquille, OR) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils confront the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) in a 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Coquille/Myrtle Point will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 8-0 league loss to Coquille/Myrtle Point (Coquille, OR).
The Panthers now possess a 1-2 record.
