October 12, 2023: Monroe, NC 28112 The Anson Bearcats football team (Wadesboro, NC), was ripped 58-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC)
The Redhawks (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Piedmont was ripped by Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 46-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Bearcats now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Stanly for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19. Anson will meet a Colts team coming off a 18-12 non-league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Colts record now stands at 5-3.
