October 19, 2023: Monroe, NC 28112 The Piedmont Panthers football team (Monroe, NC), was ripped 42-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC)
The Redhawks (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, West Stanly was ripped by Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 25-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkwood for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 26. Piedmont will meet a Wolf Pack team coming off a 38-14 non-league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 2-7.
