Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats confront the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut I challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Bacon Academy will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 5-2 league win over Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT).
