October 3, 2023: Lebanon, CT 06249 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) and the visiting Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), saw Lyman Memorial's soccer squad get by Bacon Academy by a margin of 3-2.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host New London for a Eastern Connecticut III test on Thursday, October 5. Lyman Memorial will encounter a Whalers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whalers record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Bacon Academy drops to 3-4 on the season. The Bobcats host Waterford (Waterford, CT) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 5. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 6-3. Waterford won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Griswold (Griswold, CT)
