Iowa High School Volleyball - Central Lyon overwhelmed by MOC-Floyd Valley
October 12, 2023: Orange City, IA 51041 The Central Lyon Lions volleyball team (Rock Rapids, IA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA)
The Dutchmen (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Okoboji (Milford, IA). The Pioneers come into the Siouxland challenge with a 8-20 record. In their last challenge, Okoboji went down by Unity Christian (Orange City, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions encounter the Akron-Westfield Westerners (Akron, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. Central Lyon will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The Westerners come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA).
