October 12, 2023: Belle, WV 25015 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Charleston Catholic Irish (Charleston, WV) and the host Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), saw Charleston Catholic's volleyball squad beat Riverside by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Charleston Catholic upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Irish host Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to play the Redskins in a Mountain State bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 19-9.
The Warriors now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. Riverside will play a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 21-14.
