The Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders topped the visiting Waxahachie Prep Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Crusaders now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to StoneGate Christian Academy for a TAPPS 1A District 2 test on Tuesday, October 17. Cornerstone Christian Academy will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Eagle Christian Academy (Waco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-21.

The Warriors (10-16) will now prepare for their test against Victory Baptist Academy (Weatherford, TX). The Patriots enter the TAPPS 1A District 2 test with a 24-6 record.
