October 12, 2024: Wausau, WI 54401 Newman Fighting Cardinals (Wausau, WI) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Tri-County Penguins (Plainfield, WI), 56-24 in a league battle.
With the win, Newman advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Fighting Cardinals travel to Wild Rose (Wild Rose, WI) to play the Wildcats in a Mideast (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 2-5. Wild Rose lost 51-6 in their recent league battle against Marion/Tigerton (Marion, WI)
