October 12, 2024: Pine Ridge, SD 57770 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) and the visiting Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD), observed Pine Ridge's volleyball team hold off Cheyenne-Eagle Butte by a count of 2-1.
The Thorpes (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lemmon/McIntosh (Lemmon, SD). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Lemmon/McIntosh was tipped by New England (New England, ND), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Braves meet the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will attempt to move on its 15-11 season record. The Battlers enter the contest with a 13-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ipswich (Ipswich, SD).
