The Redskins now possess a 12-17 record. They play next when they travel to James Monroe for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. Hurricane will clash with a Mavericks team coming off a 2-0 league win over Summers County (Hinton, WV). The Mavericks record now stands at 25-4.

With the loss, Independence drops to 7-20 on the campaign. The Patriots host Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, October 21. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Oak Hill lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)
