October 12, 2024: San Jose, CA 95126 Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Santa Clara improves its record to 8-11 on the season. The Bruins travel to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league test on Monday, October 14. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 6-16. Evergreen Valley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA)
The Lions now own a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Jose for a BVAL - Santa Teresa West test on Tuesday, October 15. Lincoln will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-14.
