October 12, 2024: West Bend, IA 50597 West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad notch a victory over the visiting North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA), 2-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, West Bend-Mallard improves its record to 15-8 on the season. The Wolverines travel to St. Mary's (Remsen, IA) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 15. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 7-16. St. Mary's lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA)
The Warriors now own a 5-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Estherville Lincoln Central for a battle on Saturday, October 12. North Union will encounter a Midgets squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA). The Midgets record now stands at 10-15.
