In Saturday's league match, the Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) volleyball squad overcame the host Post Antelopes (Post, TX), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 match, on Tuesday, October 15. Ropes will attempt to move on its 27-12 season record. The Antelopes enter the match with a 0-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Olton (Olton, TX).

The Antelopes (6-13) will now prepare for their match against Plains (Plains, TX). The Cowboys enter the 2A Region I District 2 match with a 20-11 record. In their last match, Plains notched a victory over Tahoka (Tahoka, TX), 3-0, in a league match.
