North Carolina High School Football - Ashe County knocked off by Freedom
October 13, 2022: Morganton, NC 28655 Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), 40-20 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Freedom improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign.
With the loss, Ashe County drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Huskies host South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to confront the Spartans in a test on Thursday, October 20. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 5-3. South Caldwell won 32-30 in their recent non-league test against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)
