The Freedom Patriots football team (Morganton, NC), was ripped 55-20 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC)

The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Ashe County was ripped by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 52-22, in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Caldwell for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 6.
