October 13, 2022: Indian Trail, NC 28079 The Porter Ridge Pirates football squad scored 23 points and restricted the visiting Cuthbertson Cavaliers to 21 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 20. Porter Ridge will play a Panthers squad coming off a 47-0 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
Coming up next, the Cavaliers play the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 20. Cuthbertson will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 28-14 non-league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).
