October 20, 2022: Monroe, NC 28110 The Piedmont Panthers football team (Monroe, NC), was beaten 27-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC)
The Pirates (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Sun Valley achieved victory over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 28-21, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cuthbertson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 27. Piedmont will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 23-21 non-league loss to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-7.
