The Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) volleyball overcame the visiting Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Athens upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH) to play the Shermans in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 19. The Shermans go into the outing with a record of 17-5. Unioto lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH)

The Marauders now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Vinton County for a Tri-Valley - Ohio outing on Saturday, October 15. Meigs will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league win over River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 10-11.
