The Ouachita Parish Lions football team (Monroe, LA), was knocked off 35-10 in Friday's league challenge with the host Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA)

The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels come into the 5A District 2 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Pineville was knocked off by Ruston (Ruston, LA), 48-6, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Monroe for a 5A District 2 challenge on Friday, October 20. Ouachita Parish will meet a Rebels team coming off a 42-19 league win over West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-1.
