The Platteview Trojans football team (Springfield, NE), was beaten 20-3 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Boys Town Cowboys (Boys Town, NE)

The Cowboys (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE). The Pioneers come into the C1 District 1 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Fort Calhoun achieved victory over Concordia (Omaha, NE), 41-0, in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashland-Greenwood for a C1 District 1 challenge on Friday, October 20. Platteview will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 28-23 league win over Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-1.
