The Central York Panthers thwarted the host Red Lion Lions football team by a count of 35-27 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Central York upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Reading (Reading, PA) to encounter the Red KNights in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 19. The Red KNights go into the outing with a record of 1-7. Reading lost 41-0 in their recent league outing against Manheim Township (Lancaster, PA)
