The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) and the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), observed Riverton Parke's football squad thwart Covington by a count of 20-6.

The Panthers now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cloverdale for a non-league contest on Friday, October 20. Riverton Parke will play a Clovers squad coming off a 53-14 non-league loss to Owen Valley (Spencer, IN). The Clovers record now stands at 2-7.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 20. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Gophers go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 48-20 league loss to Eastern (Greentown, IN).
