The Riverton Parke Panthers football team (Montezuma, IN), was beaten 20-8 in Friday's league challenge with the host Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN)

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Covington (Covington, IN). The Trojans come into the Wabash River challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Covington achieved victory over North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN), 53-16, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Seeger for a Wabash River challenge on Friday, September 8. Riverton Parke will meet a Patriots team coming off a 58-6 league win over Attica (Attica, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
