In Friday's league game, the Laurel Locomotives (Laurel, MT) football team knocked off the host East Helena Vigilantes (East Helena, MT), by a score of 31-6.

The Locomotives (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Lockwood (Billings, MT). The LIONS come into the A - Southeast game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Lockwood was dropped by Billings Central Catholic (Billings, MT), 29-8, in a league game.

The Vigilantes now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sidney for a A - Northeast game on Friday, October 20. East Helena will battle a Eagles team coming off a 39-0 league loss to Havre (Havre, MT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.
