The Fergus Golden Eagles football squad scored 44 points and restricted the host East Helena Vigilantes to 7 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laurel for a non-league battle on Friday, September 1. Fergus will face a Locomotives squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, MT). The Locomotives record now stands at 1-0.
