October 13, 2023: Bartonville, IL 61607 In Friday's league match, the visiting Pekin Dragons football squad scored a big 56-20 victory over the Limestone Rockets.
In their next game, the Dragons clash with the East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) in a Mid-Illini match, on Friday, October 20. Pekin will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 62-46 league loss to Metamora (Metamora, IL).
The Rockets (1-9) will now prepare for their match against Canton (Canton, IL). The Little Giants enter the Mid-Illini match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Canton was crushed by Washington (Washington, IL), 48-3, in a league match.
