October 13, 2023: Farmington, CT 06032 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) and the visiting Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT), saw Farmington's volleyball squad beat Berlin by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Farmington upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The River Hawks travel to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT) to play the Lions in a Central Connecticut - West bout on Monday, October 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Northwest Catholic won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT)
With the loss, Berlin drops to 8-6 on the campaign. The Redcoats travel to Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT) to clash with the Lancers in a Central Connecticut - South match on Monday, October 16. The Lancers come into the match with a record of 9-4. Bristol Eastern won 3-1 in their recent league match against Maloney (Meriden, CT)
