Alaska High School Volleyball - Colony tips Kodiak
October 13, 2023: Kodiak, AK 99615 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) and the host Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK), saw Colony's volleyball squad nip Kodiak by a tally of 1-0.
With the win, Colony upgrades its record to 19-17 on the year. The Knights host Nikiski (Nikiski, AK) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 22-13. Nikiski lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)
The Bears now own a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, October 13. Kodiak will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Redington (Wasilla, AK). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-19.
