In Monday's league game, the Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) flag football team edged the host Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA), by a tally of 13-6.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) in a Foothill game, on Wednesday, October 15. Vasquez will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record. The Centurions enter the game with a 10-13 record after their 14-0 league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA).
