Maryland High School Soccer - Sherwood knocks off Damascus
October 13, 2025: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), saw Sherwood's soccer squad triumph over Damascus by a score of 6-0.
The Warriors (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Cavaliers come into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Kennedy was overwhelmed by Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, October 15. Damascus will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a 2-8 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD).
