Virginia High School Football - Floyd County knocked off by James River
October 14, 2021: Floyd, VA 24091 James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA), 34-19 in a league test.
With the triumph, James River improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Glenvar (Salem, VA) to confront the Highlanders in a Three Rivers test on Monday, October 18. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 6-1. Glenvar won 63-8 in their recent league test against Alleghany (Covington, VA)
With the loss, Floyd County drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Radford (Radford, VA) to confront the Bobcats in a Three Rivers test on Friday, October 22. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 5-2. Radford won 36-7 in their recent league test against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA)
