Pennsylvania High School Football - Montour topples Chartiers Valley
October 14, 2022: Bridgeville, PA 15017 The Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) football defeated the host Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA), 32-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway bout, on Friday, October 21. Montour will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 16-13 league loss to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA).
The Colts (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Quips enter the WPIAL AAAA Parkway bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Aliquippa defeated New Castle (New Castle, PA), 54-6, in a league bout.
